Midsummer 'Frost' Festival?

Starting the moon of June 21st and through July 4th is a wonderful festival that covers Azeroth in its entirety. While celebrating the hottest season of the year cities are covered with lanterns and pillars of flame, hopefully up to fire code. And while visions haunt citizens of Darnassus of huge bonfires catching their cleverly built wooden huts at night, chaos runs rampant. A quested race to gain the title Flame Warden, with Alliance vs. Horde, infiltrating the cities of opposing factions, committing theft and getting paid for it. Ah... Isn’t life wonderful?

So you can see where a Rogue would feel at home on this festive occasion. So I have stalked the world, stole the flames while honoring others. But something just doesn’t feel right to me. This is the Midsummer Fire Festival so why in the hell is everything so cold? Ahune the elemental frost lord is giving us more than a metaphorical cold shoulder but two frost emblems also from stabbing the cold hearted son of an Orc. Dropping 232 cloaks and the coolest (no pun intended) vanity pet I adore. Hey! Anything that sits beside you and randomly throws snowballs at people is a must have. So stock up on Frost Emblems and don’t forget to dance your way through levels with the nice little 10% buff for your alts from ribbon dance, this Rogue is done, finally...

I have been quiet lately I know. My mind is elsewhere trying to bring structure to the disorganized. I have been working diligently on Eternal Legions web site along side Vectance. With everything coming together I hope E.L. members will come by and register. So much hard work and effort has been put into it, it is hard not to appreciate the quality. It will be a big part of our everyday workings as a guild, I just hope everyone will take the time.

Find The Boomkin will not be posted this week due to the Boomkins scheduling conflicts ;) I also plan still have it posted here but a link put up for the Guilds website when it does post. Thanks!

Trade Trolls...

*Long drawn out sigh* Do you remember the days when you could advertise on trade the skills and craftsmanship that you have worked so hard to level? This Rogue does. And while yes, I may have gotten a kick out of this for 10 minutes, the hour and a half long trade stop that happened was a bit much for my taste. Some have to realize that this is a game, get over yourselves. No self respecting player at 1AM wants to hear/read your junk measuring contest. And at least think of some good come backs.

(R) was the trade troll, (A) was the guy that took the bait. I feel sorry for the guilds that they represent and all of the people that witness and participated in the stupidity. For those actually trying to use Trade chat for its intended purpose I feel for the most. A few of our guild mates were those people.

Lesson for the night? Say NO! to drugs, drinking, and ignorance. None of these, especially used in combination can result in anything good. When in doubt /leave trade.

A Hordes Plea...

One thing I will sympathise with but never fully understand is that if you are not on a PvP server and you are flagged, what makes you think you have rights not to die?

So, when my favorite Hunter and Death Knight took me on a night around Icecrown and we found you, what do you think would happen? No I did not bust out my full PvP gear, or flag myself as warning, we didn't even gang up on you, but I did change one poison just to make it fun, for me that is.

What kills me is, if you are in what I call a 'Fair Game' zone, you are just that, fair game. Why log onto your Alliance character and demand we stop killing your hostile factioned character? You say you were in Battle Grounds, okay good for you, this doesn't mean that your entitled to survive if we find you. Here is my advice wanted or not, do your dailies first then go into Battle Grounds, just make sure your in your own area when you get back. *Hugs*

Gunship Fun!

It's almost like half time at a football game... That point in time where everyone needs a break just to do their own thing.

Growing... very, very, FAST!

It amazes me in what could happen in the span of a single moon. It amazes me more with how strong people bond together. Eternal Legion has tripled in growth and my heart weighs heavy for WR. As one of many leaders in Eternal Legion I am overwhelmed, that devotion and honor flow through so many. It is a wonderful thing to witness and even more of an honor to be a part of.

We are Eternal.

Honestly I have been torn for the past few weeks, pondering on whether to open the doors of a guild that once flourished. To dust the cob webs off the exterior and re decorate the interior.

"Memento Immortales Esse." Remember that you are immortals.

These are the first words to grace Eternal Legion in very many moons. Eternal Legion is a guild founded by myself and Logathorn of Moonrunner when Deaths Minions decided to change their ranks and take on things that not every member wanted. It has been through trails and wars and has come out on top of all that is selfish in this world. It is our safe haven, it is our home.

Eternal Legion is now open for all to become this again, a place where drama will truly never be tolerated, where animosity towards anyone will be dealt with, and where communications thrive. This is my vow to my fellow guild mates. Even though I am the guild's master and I will lead the best I am able, we are all running this guild together. Because I believe firmly as with anything in this life, a guild is made by its members, without them you have nothing.

A Note to WR: To make questions or accusations that 'may have' been brought up clear. Everyone who came to me with concerns about where they wish to go, my words were simple. I told them to think on it, that people do rash things in the heat of the moment, and I was not going to allow anyone in until they knew for sure. I planned to open Eternal Legion if things went badly, for if they no longer felt comfortable we would have a place that we all could still form together.
